Good news for everyone who loved recommending Scribie: the affiliate program is back.

Our affiliate program is a simple way to earn a share of the business you sent our way. We paused it while we moved to our new platform, and many of you asked us to bring it back. Today, we’re doing just that.

Every customer now has a personal referral link. Share it, and when the people you refer place orders, you earn credits on your account. There are no forms to fill in and no approvals to wait for.

What is the affiliate program?

The affiliate program rewards you for bringing new customers to Scribie. Here is what you get:

• 5% commission. You earn 5% of what each customer you refer pays.
• Three full years of earnings. You keep earning on a referred customer’s payments for 36 months from the day they sign up.
• Credits added automatically. Your earnings go straight into your account. There is nothing to request.
• Credits that never expire. Use them on any order, whenever you like.
• Unlimited invites. Refer as many new customers as you want.

What’s new this time?

The program works the way you remember, with one upgrade: your commission now arrives as account credits.

That means your rewards are ready to use the moment they are earned. There is no payout request, no waiting period and no transfer fee. Your credits simply sit in your account until you need them, and you can spend them on transcription, captioning, formatting, rush delivery or any other service on the platform.

In short, every referral helps pay for your own next order.

When do you earn commission?

You earn commission whenever a customer you referred places an order or adds credits to their account. Each time, your 5% is added to your balance automatically, and we send you an email so you know your credits have grown.

How do you use the affiliate program? (Step-by-step guide)

1. Sign in to your personal workspace

First, sign in to your Scribie account. The affiliate program lives in your personal workspace. If you are working in a team workspace, switch back to your personal one before you continue.

2. Open the Affiliates page

Next, go to Settings and select Affiliates from the settings menu. You can also go straight to scribie.com/settings/affiliates.

3. Copy your referral link

At the top of the page, you will see Your referral link. Click Copy link to copy it. This link is unique to you, and it stays the same every time you visit.

4. Share it with people who need transcription

Now share your link wherever it makes sense. For example, you could email it to a colleague, add it to your website or newsletter, or post it on social media.

5. Your contact signs up

When someone opens your link and creates an account, they are added to your referred customers automatically.

6. Earn credits when they order

Each time your referred customer places an order or adds credits, 5% is added to your account as credits. You will also receive an email confirming the amount.

7. Track your referrals and earnings

Your Affiliates page keeps everything in one place:

• Summary figures show how many customers you have referred, how many have ordered, and your total earned.
• Referred customers lists everyone who signed up through your link, when they joined, whether they have ordered, and the date you earn until.
• Earnings history shows each payment you earned from, along with any refunded amount and your net earnings.

8. Use your credits on your next order

Finally, your credits are applied at checkout just like any other credits. Use them on your next order, or save them for later.

What happens if a referred order is refunded?

If a referred customer receives a refund, the matching part of your earnings is removed. You can see this in the Refunded column of your earnings history.

Who can be referred?

To keep the program fair for everyone, a few simple rules apply:

• New customers only. Your link works for people who do not have an account yet.
• No self-referrals. Signing up yourself with another email address does not earn credits.
• Personal accounts only. Affiliate credits go to your personal account and cannot be used in team workspaces.
• No spam, please. Share your link with people who will find it useful.
